What to know ahead of time.

  • We welcome festive cocktail attire. The party will be held indoors and outdoors.

  • The dress code for the wedding is formal. We would never tell you what to wear, but we would love for you to use this as an excuse to dress up and add some color to our day. Please keep in mind that it is primarily outdoors and in an open barn, on grass and in gardens. We are embracing a summer garden party theme for the wedding day.

  • There will be savory & sweet snacks along with beer, wine, espresso martinis & mocktails. There will be no formal dinner but plenty to snack on.

  • Food is how we show our love and feeding you well is our no. 1 at this event! Even though Laura would prefer to cook dinner herself for the wedding - she wasn’t allowed to throw this dinner party!

Our venue Glorioso & Co. will handle the catering + bar for the day. There will be a grazing station and passed apps followed by a family-style dinner. If you have any specific questions about the menu, dietary restrictions or allergies, please add to your RSVP or reach out to Laura directly!

  • We are getting married in a remote setting away from reliable cell service. Please plan to download directions (or bring the direction card from your invite) along with you if you are driving separate from planned transportation to the venue. Please note that you will also have unreliable/limited cell service while you are at the venue.

Copy these directions from Northampton Center:

Head northwest on King St toward Allen Pl

Use the right lane to merge onto I-91 N via the ramp to Greenfield/Brattleboro VT

    Take exit 35 for US 5 N toward Deerfield/Conway

    Turn right onto US-5 N

    Turn left onto MA-116 N

    Turn left onto South St

The destination will be on the right.

  • You can most definitely drive to the wedding and park at the venue. You can even leave a car at the venue overnight if you would prefer to Uber or take the bus back to Northampton at the end of the wedding. We encourage taking the bus, carpooling & Uber if you plan to drink and party into the evening with us.

On the day of the wedding we will be providing a bus for transportation from the The Hotel D at 2:13 PM and The Hotel Northampton at 2:30 PM. The bus will be available to take people back to Northampton center at the end of the wedding reception at 11 PM. It will bring people back to the Hotel Northampton where our after party will take place at The Wiggins Tavern. The bus will stay until the end of the after party to bring people back to the Hotel D where we have blocked rooms at 1 AM.

  • The Curtis House is an 1850s Dutch Colonial. It was the summer home of George William Curtis, the then editor of Harpers Weekly. It’s a charming, sprawling old house that abuts the town green. Our wedding will take place in the garden and the fully restored late 19th century barn.
